A bright early start to the day we all met at the bus depot.
A trip over the ranges to Casuarina and we all arrived feeling like we had gone to another place in time.
It was absolutely stunning. Not only were the birds a pleasure but the warm hospitality from Neville was amazing.
I'm sure there will be no hesitation in going if the opportunity ever arose again.

A foggy morning in May 2009 we set off to Moree and visited Mepham’s. We were welcomed with open arms, had a lovely morning tea with them and checked out all their birds.
A yummy lunch at the pub in Moree, and visited Yates Place, and wandered through his walk in aviary.
Next stop was at the Shepard’s at Warialda. More food - just delightful!
An unbelievable time had by everyone, we were all glad to have been a part of this day.
It was an imformative afternoon, and was followed by a great meal. Mike's willingness to share his knowledge was outstanding and was very helpful to a lot of members. Thanks Mike, hope we can get you to come back again some time.

The generosity of local breeders allowing us to visit their aviaries made for a great day out.
First stop was Dave Wilkins house, then on to Lake Inverell for morning tea.
It was then on to Jim and Kaye's homestead to check out their flock.
Final destination was at Col Baths, an enjoyable day by all that attended.
Ian’s presentation was packed full of fantastic photos and information. Ian was more than willing to share his extensive knowledge with all of us. It ended all too soon. Everyone that attended enjoyed their time with Ian tremendously. We are looking forward to getting Ian back again real soon.
Also a BIG THANKYOU to John Courtney for bringing and sharing his incredible photography. I don’t think I am speaking alone when I say , “We would love to see more!”

love and laughter. What a year it has
been!
